Echo Point

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

Revision as of 00:49, 26 January 2017 by Bobcat (Talk | contribs)

View to Badger Butte from Echo Point (bobcat)

Description

At 5,420 feet, Echo Point is the highest prominence on the steep ridge above Boulder Lake. The Forest Creek Trail #473 runs right over Echo Point. From the viewpoint near the summit, only a part of Boulder Lake is visible. However, looking north and east, you'll see Badger Butte and Grasshopper Point. Behind them are Gunsight Butte, Lookout Mountain, and Flag Point.
