Description

Scattered oaks form copses along the north ridge of Sevenmile Hill, but breaks in the trees allow you get wonderful vistas across the Rowena Gap to the Devils Hole and the strange, dike-like formation of the Ortley Pinnacles, actually not dikes at all but an extraordinary vertical fold in the layer of Yakima Basalt here.
