Hikes starting here

Driving Directions

Drive I-5 south to Exit 228 for Highway 34, Lebanon, and Corvallis. Turn right after exiting onto Highway 34 for Linn-Benton Community College, Corvallis, and Oregon State University.

Go 9.8 miles and make a left turn at a traffic light for Philomath, Junction City, and the Oregon Coast.

Drive 0.6 miles, crossing the Willamette and Marys Rivers, and exit right for Junction City to join Highway 99W going south.

From the junction with 99W, it’s 12.0 miles south before you make a right turn onto Bruce Road at the Country Market.

Drive 0.9 miles on gravel to a parking area on the right side of the road.

  • Restrooms near refuge entrance on Bruce Road
  • Interpretive signs
  • Obey wildlife refuge No Entry signs
  • Trails closed November 1st to March 31st
