Fees and Regulations

  • Seasonal area closure from January 1st to July 15th: stay on the trail.
  • No hiking of the abandoned section off trail north of FR 1861, Jan. 1st to July 15th.
  • No vehicle access to this trailhead, Jan. 1st to July 15th.

Driving Directions

Drive I-5 South to Exit 294 for 99W, Tigard and Newberg.

Keep on 99 West through Tigard, Sherwood, Newberg and Dundee for 22.9 miles and then turn left onto Highway 18 for Dayton and the Oregon Coast.

Drive all the way on Highway 18 (52.7 miles) until you exit right for Neskowin, Tillamook and Astoria.

In 0.2 miles, the exit joins Highway 101 North.

Drive north on 101 for 1.1 miles before turning left onto Three Rocks Road. Then immediately make a right into the small parking area for the Cascade Head Trail.
