Description

The pond in Brown's Ferry Park, originally created by beavers (now long gone) is a haven for various waterfowl, including green-winged teals, hooded mergansers, and shovelers. Red-winged blackbirds also nest here and there may be a great blue heron standing silently by the water's edge.
