The Bridal Veil Falls hike is a short hike from a trailhead right off the Columbia River Highway to a majestic falls. It is a favorite of tourists and families on summer weekends, but is pretty quiet at other times. This trail starts from the east end of the lot as a flat, paved trail. Soon, it changes to gravel and works it way down in one long switchback to Bridal Veil Creek. There's a staircase down the side of the valley and a beautiful wooden arch bridge over the creek. The trail then climbs to a wooden lookout with a view of [[Bridal Veil Falls]]. This watercourse ran near-dry for decades as a neighboring lumber mill diverted the water. Now the mill is a memory and Bridal Veil Falls has returned. Many, many names and hearts are carved here in the handrails of the lookout. Hikers in the park should check out the [[Bridal Veil Loop Hike]], as well. | The Bridal Veil Falls hike is a short hike from a trailhead right off the Columbia River Highway to a majestic falls.
