Beaver Creek North Footbridge

From Oregon Hikers Field Guide

View to the former footbridge from the bluff above, Beaver Creek Greenway, Troutdale (bobcat)

Description

R.I.P.

This footbridge, which was in a state of disrepair and twisted this way and that, has finally been removed (as of 2020). The South Footbridge across Beaver Creek was removed several years ago, and some sections of trail in the Beaver Creek Canyon have succumbed to landslides. The only way to get across Beaver Creek now is to ford or wait for low water in the summer and early fall, when a rock hop might be possible.
