Description
Badlands Rock is a large, smooth-sided tumulus that looks like a giant clam shell. A user trail leads up into the middle of the formation, where you’ll find a campfire circle. Find a perch on one of the lava ridges to take in the far-reaching views west to the Cascades: the Three Sisters, Mount Bachelor, Broken Top, Mount Jefferson, and Mount Hood should all be visible on a clear day.
