Description
Alsea Falls is a 30-foot cascade in the Bureau of Land Management's Alsea Falls Recreation Area. The waterfall is most impressive during the height of the rainy season (winter and spring) when the day use and campground areas are closed. In the low water summer season, the area below the falls is a popular swimming hole. The exposed rock benches become sunbathing and summer party sites.
