Trapper Creek

Post by drm » April 21st, 2018, 1:28 pm

I hiked up the Observation Trail to the ridge, hitting snow just a quarter mile before at about 3200 feet. Backtracked to the Big Slide trail, dropped down to Trapper Ck and camped at Terrace Camp. Hiked up as far as Hidden Creek and pretty much no snow that far.

I can't wait for the snow to do some serious melting so we can get to higher elevations, this is a start

Thank you for the trip report!

Trapper Creek is usually one of my early season choices as well.

How were the bugs?

How was the snow from where you could see? As in, how deep?

No bugs - it's still only April! My only knowledge about snow is in the report.
