We were up there last weekend and I do believe that is the prettiest place I have ever been. So beautiful!

After seeing this report I was under the mistaken impression that the fall color was going gangbusters. Looking back now I think I saw "just spectacular" along with a few fall color shots and I made the erroneous leap to: "the fall color looks spectacular." We undertook the five-hour round-trip drive out there today and discovered that we were WAY too early. It's still quite green and with the exception of a few early maples, it'll be another 2-3 weeks before the fall color is really looking great. Pretty disappointing, but at least the waterfalls were nice. I'll try to write up a proper trip report in the next day or two.
