Thought I'd post some photos from a trip to Silver Falls State Park on Saturday -- as it turned out, the unruly weather thinned out the crowds, which made for a very pleasant (but wet!) stroll from the north trailhead down to Lower South Falls, my favorite section of trail.
Looking downstream from behind North Falls:
Stream scene along the north fork of Silver Creek:
Bigleaf Maples:
...another stream scene along the north fork Silver Creek:
Middle North Falls:
...and Middle North Falls:
...the trail hugging the north fork just above the confluence with the south fork of Silver Creek:
Bleeding Heart:
Scouler's Corydalis:
....another stream scene along the north fork:
Lower North Falls:
Salmonberry blossoms en route to becoming berries:
Maidenhair Ferns still unfurling:
Lower South Falls:
Always a beautiful hike, ESPECIALLY on a rainy day..!

Really nice photos, thanks for sharing them!
Also, thanks for the plant id, Scouler's Corydalis. I ran into a big swatch of it growing up nicely on either side of the trail on my way back to Wahkeena from Angel's Rest (415) and just didn't know the name. I could ever so subtly smell it in the air though. Quite lovely.
