White River overnight snowshoe - April 15 - 16, 2017
If you're looking for a hike free of flower loving crowds, White River is the place! We saw a only handful of people including the famous, Splintercat, who was again delightful to visit with on the trail. Sure, you'll need snowshoes but, for those last escapes to the snow, it's fairly people-free now.

- Mt Hood was lit up by the ski resorts before the moon rose

- The hill and ravine we usually go up to get to Boy Scout Ridge

- I have always loved this hill

- We chose a wind protected spot to camp this trip

- Snow coming down the hill

- Later morning light.... we slept in and missed sunrise
