Wildcat Creek Crossing

Post by sheilakpdx » July 18th, 2018, 12:31 pm

Just checking to see whether anyone has done the Siouxon Creek/Wildcat Creek crossing in the past few weeks. I imagine the water is calming down with the warm weather and advancing summer but any input is appreciated! Also, a previous trip report (not in 2018) mentioned it was difficult to see where the trail picked up once the creek had been crossed. If anyone has more recent information, that too is appreciated...

Oh yes, the trail description mentions Wildcat Trail #136 but it should be #156 right?

Thanks!

Well I will answer my own question....crossing Wildcat Creek was a non-event. Same with Chinook creek at the falls. Crossing Siouxon at Wildcat took a few moments of thought but still a rock hopper.
