Just got back from the hike and had an awesome time. Started at the Ramona Falls trailhead and headed down the Sandy River trail to the PCT until we hit the falls. Then jumped on the Timberline and hiked up to McNeil Point where we set up camp at the top of the McNeil Point trail. Turned out to be about 12.4 miles and 4,000+ feet of elevation gain. Needless to say the downhill hike out was much appreciated! Weather was great and only annoyance was some black flies. Can't wait to come back and do some more.
