Devil's Staircase - Is it officially wilderness yet?

A couple weeks ago, a couple buds and I made a Wasson Creek trip. We spent a day and a half and saw 3/4 of the stream, including all of the waterfalls via stream-walking and pack-rafting. Now, I'm working on writing up a small guide on the Staircase and in researching, I'm finding it hard to track down whether or not it ever actually was designated wilderness. As close as I can gather, it came close in 2015, but the deal was never sealed. The website for the group that lobbied hard for it hasn't been updated in years, and offers no clarification. Just wondering if anyone knows?
