Lake of the woods-swallow lake trails- mt jeff

Post by -Q- » July 28th, 2016, 9:05 pm

Anyone been up either of these trails recently?? Conditions?? Blowdown??
Detroit ranger station didn't have recent beta but heard they were in rough shape. Yeah, I kinda already guessed that.

Ranger also said Bingham ridge was open. Really?? Truth?? It surely wasn't open last year. Ranger didn't know it was previously closed either though. Odd

I haven't been this year. Swallow Lake was in great shape last year but I'm sure that's different this year.

It's a crapshoot. The winter winds seemed to be somewhat concentrated. Some areas got hit hard, while a few miles away, nothing.

If there was good trail tread last year that's good enough for me. Thanks
