or, you could go down Gorton Creek trail, to Herman Creek trail, then down to Herman Creek and up to PCT (about 500 feet elevation gain), then PCT all the way to Cascade Locks. Then it's totally scenic with no trails right next to road.

That'd be a good option, too...then I could hit Indian Point, and camp somewhere on Gorton Creek Trail or the PCT, which sounds better than the campground at Wyeth TH :lol: . Thanks for the suggestion!

There's a nice campsite right at Herman Creek. On the East side. Maybe 0.1 mile from the creek. Might be someone there on the weekends, but then you could probably find a flat spot somewhere else around there.

Or where Gorton Creek trail meets Herman Creek trail. There's a spring about 200 feet West of the trail junction. You have to explore around a little and find a faint side trail.

Thanks for the info! I would be there Thursday, so maybe I'll be able to snag one of them...
