Green Lakes (Cascade Lakes Highway) conditions?

I might be going down to Sisters for the 4th of July, and the Green Lakes/Falls Creek trail is on my wish list for this summer. Has anyone been down along the Cascade Lakes Highway in the last couple of weeks? Will there still be too much snow? The whole hike is in the 5400'-6600' range.

According to a reply to a CC.com post the road is open but none of the trailheads are plowed.

"The Cascades Lakes Highway did open Thursday [June 19] to through traffic.
There is no plowed areas for parking at trailheads at this time. I guess you could dig out a spot."

Hi!
I'd love to hear any new updates about this area as well. I was planning on heading that way July 11-12. Does anyone know if the 100 degree weather last weekend made a difference?

I rode my bike past the Green Lakes trailhead June 28. The parking lot was open for the first time this season that day. There was quite a bit of snow in the trees around 6000 feet (Mt Bachelor base). I would think the trail would have a lot on it too.
