Salmon Butte TH

Okay, I'm being lazy and don't feel like sifting through pages of search results.

I know the road to Salmon Butte TH was closed and is being converted to trail. What I'd like to know is, how long is the hike now? The FS, of course, still says 4.3 miles one-way on its website, and for some reason there's no listing for this hike in our Field Guide. (I'd be happy to help with this, by the way.)

Isn't it now about 12 miles? I seem to recall reading 11.7 somewhere but I'm thinking it's something around 12 miles.

The road is closed just beyond the Salmon River Bridge, adding about 1.7 miles to the hike each way. 12 miles total is about right.
