yeah, plywood not scenic :)

still, might be worth checking out, I forget just how it looks with the plywood. I think there still might be a covered area with the stone architecture common to that era.

Perhaps contact Trails Club of Oregon to see if you could rent Nesika Lodge? They have road access most of the way in, and Waespe(sp?) Point, right below it, has a beautiful view of the Gorge.
