Jack's Woods is my favorite ski slope at Meadows. :)

It was kinda funny, I knew meadows was coming up, but was still surprised to see signposts at the top of the ridge on that last skirt, magnitude; had no clue it was the last one before the lifts, I'd been so fortunate that after the crossing just before that I told myself I wouldn't do another one and so went up past the snow and then down.
Also, if you are careful utilizing the rock, trees and soil, these few skirts, you don't have to tear up the foliage to get around.

I noticed that the snow level on the Timberline Trail behind Timberline Lodge was 51 inches yesterday on the website. I called Zig Zag RS to confirm this number, and it was indeed confirmed. They had a group lost near Zig Zag Canyon last weekend because the trail is so buried.

Hey great job, I have been scouting the trails on the north east side as a Wilderness Steward, The Cloud Cap to Elk Meadow was still featuring snow and water crossings. Great description.

That is epic. Amazing you did the whole loop. I was in Paradise Park July 2-4 and found it difficult.

If you're uploading pictures greater than 2 MB, it puts an error message but it's small so you might miss it. You have to resize, for example with the built-in program "paint"

Wow! Thanks for reporting in. I've been very curious about this year's conditions.
