Combining Gunsight Butte-Badger with Gumjuwac-Badger

For an over-nighter, I wanted something with a bit more mileage than either the Gunsight Butte-Badger Loop or the Gumjuwac-Badger Loop.

I couldn't find any existing guide that combined these two and took out the middle, so below is a map I created that extends to a bigger loop. The initial Gumjuwac trail is 4.8 miles rountrip, so 2.4 each way. The overlap of the two individual loops is 2.6 miles. If my math is correct, the big loop totals about 15.1 miles. With the added Jean Lake extension, it'll bring it to about 16.5 which about perfect for a quick overnight weekend trip.

did you camp at Badger Lake? I sort of like not hiking into Badger Lake and camping because there are people that drive there so it's sort of busy

did you run into any snow? That was difficult to walk over? at what elevation?
