Mt Hebo via Pioneer Indian Trail 6-18-17

Some runner friends and I jogged from Hebo Lake to South Lake via the Pioneer Indian Trail in Siuslaw NF. There is a trail closure about 1.5 miles from Lake Hebo that is easy to avoid by detouring on the road. The tread of the trail is decent, but we found it very brushy and overgrown, with lots of blackberry brambles. The undergrowth was scratchy enough that we decided to take FR1440 back down to the cars. Unfortunately I don't have pictures because we were in the fog most of the time! But I thought the trail conditions report might be useful to others.
