 Post subject: Sleet and heavy feet on south Hood. 6-15

Fortunately or un, that approach can be more fun east or west. Up the Timberline designated "trail", that turned into basically a discolored swath, today visibility, not the best, the trip 3.34mi.
Kinda slushy that makes the feet feel heavy, then rain then sleet, at least there wasn't an overheat. haha. 10,000ft woulda been nice or even 8 got to 7601 if gadget is accurate.
A good day for a little lower altitude; although, had it been snowing sure beats the rain hike, sleet hmmm, we all have a different perspective.
