Thanks for the update on the HC trail. Someday I will stroll through the gorge again. :)

Man DN you have been killing it out there! Lets get together for a nice sufferfest soon. How does a coast range trip in the Onion Peak area sound?

Thanks Sean and thanks for the invite, too. I'd love to do Onion Peak. There are a few others in the area that maybe could be worked into a route? What route do you have in mind?

Add 5 weeks. I went up there Saturday - almost no snow for first 3.5 miles to the wilderness sign, and no trees blocking the trail except the couple of large ones two miles in that have been there a couple years. I was going to check conditions and hadn't expected to get even as far as I did, so I ran out of time at 3.5 miles and turned around. But would assume you could get at least to Casey Creek now. I had my small folding saw with me but had no opportunity to use it as far as I went.

That is fantastic news!!!! Add one more to the list of trails that are actually walkable.
