10.5 miles, 2500' gained

Got to Maxwell SNO Park at 7:11am. There were 15 vehicles in the lot that apparently belonged to overnight campers.
Followed the trail with hard packed snow until Twin Lakes. Put on snowshoes after that.
The trail became more difficult to follow and eventually disappeared. Views from SW ridge were great.
Managed to the top around 11:30am and took off at 12pm.
Run into two hikers following my tracks on the way down. Glad I helped.

Interesting! That cornice near your bunny tracks was the wall for our snow camp on Jan 28! Here are his tracks from that weekend! lol

Wow, what awesome views! I don't think I've ever seen a trip report from that sno park where someone went all the way to the butte and summitted. That's a long ways!

That's right. The downside to this hike is that the trail before the ridge is a bit of a long and boring. But the views from the ridge to the summit are phenomenal.

Great sunrise shot. Thanks a lot for pointing out those were bunny tracks. Were they left by wolves, I would be scared to death. I did hear wolves hawling on the way up to Burnt Lake about two years ago.
