Waterfall Heaven

Post by ssinfo503 » December 5th, 2016, 10:49 am

I have been to Eagle Creek countless times. No matter it was sunny, cloudy, rainy, or snowy, my mind was always blown away by the beauty of Mother Nature.
Yesterday was no exception. Eagle Creek is truly Waterfall Heaven.

We were there too, tons of people walking up as we were coming out late morning Jerry, lots in very clean shoes that would not be staying clean for long :)

We had to wade Sorenson Creek.

Our goal had been tunnel Falls but we decided not to cross Tish Creek the way it was running.

waterfalls are better this time of year :)

although it's even more interesting when it's freezing. Like maybe Wednesday or Thursday. Water dripping from above creating ice sheet on the trail

That was a wet one. Nice choice. Optimum use of a waterfall trail. My policy is only hike waterfall trails on the wet days.

That trail never disappoints.

Is Tish Creek the one with the damaged bridge? Are there any plans to replace it? That's been out of commission for close to a year now I believe.

I was there that morning as well, first one in actually. I thought I recognized you Guy. I decided to skip the wade over Sorenson and went and climbed up Angels Rest instead.

I agree ssinfo, Eagle Creek never gets old. Probably have put 200+ miles on it this year. Have never seen it that wet however.... being forced to walk through 3or4 tributaries is something I don't remember ever having to do before.
