Yep. Our dog picked up her first of the year on the Washougal Greenway in February last yearkepPNW wrote:We picked them up in both Skamania (Archer Mtn) and Clark (Bells Mtn) counties, last year, too.

Once found a tick on my pants while hiking the elk-kings loop. Found that pretty odd.
That's the farthest west I have found one.

I've head that parts of the Coast Range are rife with ticks, worse than the eastern gorge.-Q- wrote:Once found a tick on my pants while hiking the elk-kings loop. Found that pretty odd.

I am with Oregon State Parks--we have a youth crew who will be bucking out all 90 down logs on the Wygant Trail.
Hopefully, there will be some time to do some brushing starting from the top. Trail has some nice out sloping.
We plan to leave two large root wads due to time and priorities. We hope to hit this with a volunteer crew in the fall or spring.
I look forward to working with TKO; thanks for the work you've put throughout the Gorge and with Oregon State Parks.
And I only pulled four ticks off yesterday!
Yes, the Chetwoot is still an off trail adventure.
Let me know if there are any questions?

Thanks for the update! The last I heard, OPRD had received funding to replace the bridge over Perham Creek - is that underway this year? (haven't been up there since I posted this report last year).
