More Cowhorn - Loop Version 10/01/15

We made a three day trip to the Willamette Pass area. Day 2 was this great loop up to Cowhorn Mountain in the Oregon Cascades Recreation Area.



We started from Timpanogas Lake.

The Start O Willamette trail connected us back to Timpanogas Lake on our return. Reminding us that this lake is the source of the Middle Fork of the Willamette River.






About 12 miles and 2000 ft EG. But we didn’t summit Cowhorn (after 2000 ft we we’re satisfied with the views). Great day!
