OK, this was not, strictly speaking, a hike, but we were technically on the PCT! . My daughter and I decided to do the bridge walk this morning. If you haven't heard of this, it's done in conjunction with the PCT Days festival in Cascade Locks. They close the Bridge of the Gods to vehicular traffic for about 45 minutes and let everybody walk across, free of charge. The weather turned out to be pretty much perfect this morning, with just a few wind gusts.

Nice. That looks like fun. The stretch of the river just west of the bridge is one of my favorite spots. I always with there was more time to enjoy the view when driving across, so a nice walk seems like a great idea.

There were a total of 475 on the bridge so it did not hit its limit of 750 people as that is why we were counting. A great group of people seeing why there is a need for a walk, bike and horse walkway on the outside which is now in the architectural planning stage. Last year enough money was raised to do this study. This all goes into the plan for updating the whole bridge and should have an answer in the near future.
Good seeing you Kathy on the bridge.

Nice! Jo and I drove over the bridge just before the brief closure but weren't sure what it was for, would have been cool to see some OH'ers out there
