Spring Break in Grand Teton NP - 3/21 to 3/25

Post by tambli22 » March 28th, 2015, 3:24 pm

With such a low snow year in the PNW I decided to head to Grand Teton NP for spring break with the hopes there would be enough snow left to get a few final days of xc skiing in. The weather, views, and skiing didn't disappoint! By far one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to.

Early morning ski to Bradley Lake before the drive to Boise. The valley received about 8" of snow the night before and we had a perfect bluebird ski day!

At least it snowed in the mountains somewhere this winter. I liked the Moran shot the best.

Wow this is phenomenal! So jealous of that snowy backdrop! Thanks for sharing! When we moved to OR in 2006, we were hoping to visit the Tetons on the way out, but we were quickly overwhelmed w/ the massive distances between well known locations and the quantity of great scenery at seemingly every turn. We were stymied in Yellowstone. It's great to visit this place vicariously and now I want to make another trip East!
