I usually avoid the park altogether July and August as it's too crowded for me.

That being said, mid-week, if you can get there early, you only deal with the crowds on the way out.

It's hard to resist the wildflowers. They are like no other I have ever seen anywhere else.

I guess that's why they call it Paradise.
