Plane crash on Hood?

So someone told me there was old plane crash wreckage on hood somewhere below a knife edge ridge near cloud cap, but on the other side of elliot canyon. ive gone out twice looking for it, once from cloud cap to the knife ridge and once from vista ridge trail all the way over to below the ridge. i guess i just dont know where to look. is it on the trail is it off the trail what the f???

If you climb Barrett Spur to the rocky ridge just above the treeless slope, and before the route becomes technical...

Look to the east in the Langille Crags. If it's late in the season, you are looking for some snow patches where they should have melted out already. Through the binoculars you will see that there is white and orange pieces. It's not something that stands out, you have to look for it.
