Is that a warning or a ticket Eric? Also I noticed new NWFP now have a space where you are supposed to write your car license plate number!

would love to know the deets behind that warning or ticket. location, context etc? I've been trying to get a ticket while just doing my usual business for years now and have yet to get even a warning. That said I don't go out of my way or anything like parking at Dog Mountain (say I wonder how much having a FS truck and personnel there all weekend, every weekend, costs?)... but nothing yet. fingers uncrossed not knocking on wood.

Yep, I bought one on Sunday and there is a spot for two license plates so that you could use it for up to two vehicles...no more sharing I guess. (Well, I guess you can share it once. )

Naw, more fun to see how little it takes to feed the trolls...
I don't think you are quite grasping the definition of "troll" in this case. You've inverted it! ;)

Man, this went to hell pretty quickly.

Anyway, I started posting here since I used the forums and field guide often enough when vacationing in the PNW that it seemed fair to contribute. Since then, I've probably stretched the limits with a few trip reports from abroad and even the east coast, but generally try to keep things relevant for a primarily WA/OR audience. I'd like to think this is consistent with the forum's purpose and intention.

Ok, I'm off to shoot fireworks from my drone in a drought-stricken wilderness area now.
