Ocean of clouds in the Toutle Valley

Post by NacMacFeegle » November 4th, 2017, 12:55 pm

This is the most dramatic example of the "sea of clouds" phenomenon that I've ever seen!

It was amazing how the fog was moving so fast that I could actually watch the waves move and break against the mountains like an actual body of water in real time!

I've also posted a small selection of photos on my website: http://illuminationsfromtheattic.blogsp ... louds.html

Thanks for sharing, the rolling clouds did indeed look like the ocean, especially the scene where the clouds roll into the hill to the right and then roll back.
