Where is the road blocked now? Down at the Wakepish Snow Park, or up at the Bear Meadows view point?
The gate is closed a few feet beyond the Wakepish Snow Park.

The bike ride was fun but boy am I tired today! I've not been on a bike for years and found all sorts of new places to be sore. Seems the muscles used for hiking and climbing aren't exactly the same as those used for biking. Maybe 27 miles as a first time out in ten years wasn't such a good idea. The 3,000' EG didn't help. I bagged 4,460 though, so that's a plus. Are we still on for Friday?

The weather is looking good, and I still the day free.
