SAR training at Multnomah Falls

Post by arlohike » April 30th, 2017, 3:21 pm

Multnomah County Sheriff SAR team was putting on a show today, rappelling down Multnomah Falls in front of the Sunday crowds. I overheard one of them say they were doing some litter cleanup as well as training.

The little orange speck in the photo is a person!

I've never managed to be out there when they're doing the trash pickup (maybe for the best, as I'm sure it's more of a zoo than usual), but I always enjoy seeing the pictures of the little dots dangling by the waterfall. Thanks for posting.
