Nice night pictures.
Question.... do you think the groomers add or detract from Mt Hood night pictures. They seem to be out every night through out the year.
I personally like it when their direct light is not visible, but they are illuminating the mountain, especially if there is no moon to help light the landscape.
The mountains are calling and I must go.

First time I've seen it. It's extremely faint, so unless you're taking photos you'll be disappointed!

These are okay/average compared to some here, but I went easy on the contrast/brightness compared to some here, which it appears the best was over in the North Cascades/Mt. Baker region:
Congratulations on the catch. I've done it once.

Doesn't bother me as much as it used to. I just kind of learned to deal with it and I do like it when they are heading up hill lighting up the summit. North side is better for a more scenic look but I like to change it up

One of the things I love about Mt Hood, is that if your first choices to camp for the night are filled up, there are other options just as good for a grand view of the mountain.
This was near McNeil Point, we got a late start and our first choice for a campsite was filled, and I suspected that the sites just above the shelter were also taken, so we explored for a new site and found this one, just large enough for a tent.

Wow really cool! Looks like you had the moon there to light up the Mt.
