Best Winter Hike

I'm looking for a beautiful winter hike tomorrow and want to know if anyone has suggestions. Have heard good things about Tomlike Mountain.
Any suggestions are welcome.

Are you looking to go hiking or snowshoeing? The snow level is pretty low right now and many trails that would otherwise be bare would require snowshoes, or at least microspikes.

Depends on what you are after. Also depends on what you are prepared for. Ice still on the trails in the Gorge. Did you want to snowshoe? Twin Lakes/Frog Lake Snowpark is easy access, off highway 26 past Government Camp. Bring microspikes and/or snowshoes anywhere you head tomorrow, and be prepared for wind and cold, of course.

Tomlike is around 20 miles roundtrip with deep snow for at least half the trip (and at least one guaranteed tricky water crossing) since Wahtum Lake access is closed for the season. Not a likely trip to be completed during daylight hours this time of year under these conditions. Not sure of your experience level, but Tomlike is an undertaking right now.

Fanno Creek trail would be pretty nice right now. Or similar wild areas in the area. Maybe Sauvie Island. Or Forest Park.

A lot easier to get to. Less likely to be found frozen to death.

Right now, I'd recommend the Kalalau Trail... or if you don't want to go that far, maybe something in Big Sur.
