New public transit option on Oregon Coast

Post by vibramhead » June 27th, 2013, 3:39 pm

We've hiked a couple of segments of the Oregon Coast Trail, and one of the challenges of planning hikes has been figuring out how to get back to our starting point. Now it looks like there's a good system in place that will let you ride the bus, including getting to the coast from Portland. Five different bus systems have come up with a visitor pass that will give you unlimited rides for a week. Here's their site.
Time spent hiking will not be deducted from your life.
