Wallowa County birding video

Post by dcammack » July 5th, 2017, 3:27 pm

I spent a few nights camped at Hurricane Creek Campground ($6),just north of Enterprise. I mostly drove around the area looking for birds. I did do a short hike at Zumwalt Praire - Harsin Butte Trail. There was some good birding at Enterprise Fish Ponds, which has a nice trail along a wooded wetlands.

Here's a link to a short video I made of some scenery and some of the birds I saw:

Beautiful video of a beautiful section of our state.

Really nice video. I actually let it run though and watched your next one on Summer Lake. I passed through there earlier this year on my way down to four days of traipsing around Hart Mountain thinking what a god-forsaken place this is. Was hot, windy and dry in mid-May. Guess I need to go there sometime earlier in the year and check a little closer.

What sort of camera / lens do you use for your video's?
