Sports watch recommendations?

Post by justpeachy » March 5th, 2017, 11:52 am

Hey ladies, I'm curious if any of you have found a sports watch you really like. Any features you really love? Any features that don't work or that are pointless? Any watches that are utter crap and should be avoided at all costs?

Last year I tried out a Withings Activité Pop but it felt really huge on my wrist so I returned it. I have small wrists and sports watches are generally big, so I have a feeling this is not a solvable problem.

Garmin Forerunner 25, tons of wrist band adjustment and they have a ladies version I believe.

Holds a great lock on GPS satellites however untested mine as of yet anywhere other than local 'runs' around Portland...

I'm whatever I need to be whenever I need to be it! <--- o.k., I stole that one

Other than the size of the wrist band and color selection, nothing else would be gender specific?

Correct, I was mainly thinking of the size issue.

that's funny because the size required to house the battery and electronics is small, mostly just style dictates largeness. Some men like to have big manly watches on their big hands :)
