Looks like Munra Pt from the power line clearing the Tanner Butte trail goes through above Road 777?

Well done, Mr Woodpecker!

Considerably lower. It was the one viewpoint I enjoyed on my hike up Munra Creek from Munra Falls to Road 777.

Not exactly a birthday balloon. Quite the opposite, in fact.

An old-fashioned rubber balloon. I found it in the snow. Possible I walked by it a few weeks ago when it was buried. It was nice to have a little cheer on my treking pole on this dreary day.

I didn't. Tied it to my pack, but not well enough. Lots of bushwhacking.

when I'm camping, I'm very good about picking up any trash including micro trash - corners of packages, rubber bands,...

when I'm hiking not so much. I don't want to put disgusting stuff in my pocket. I should have a plastic bag handy.

Found two balloons on two hikes last weekend. Both were 95% buried, and it was just by chance that I happened to see a glint of mylar poking through.

Third hike in a row!
A tree fell on this one, so I was only able to tear off the part sticking out.

I should go buy an armful of Mylar balloons and release them in the Gorge since they are apparently so entertaining!
