Bonanza Mine

Not that this is like some hidden geocache, or anything, but if anyone might care I have some updated coordinates for the Bonanza Mine. We wandered by there yesterday, and it appears the coordinates used in the Field Guide are off about 420' or so, so that they align with the (misaligned) USFS trail...
Actual location: N45.29714° W121.97721°

Cool! The water was deep within just feet of the entrance yesterday. Might have to be a summer trip?

Yeah I think it was July when we got the the back wall in 4-6" of water. Fun though!

Cool! Any guesses how far back you went? I wouldn't mind wet feet as much in July as in December, for sure.

We came up Boulder Ridge, and didn't hit any until after the non-junction with the decommissioned Plaza Trail, around 3900' or so. Not much, except in the few balds on Huckleberry Mountain where it was a foot or foot and a half deep. Nothing significant at all on Bonanza.

Excellent info, thanks so much KEP. This is super helpful.
