"Continue on the Gorge Trail 4/10 of a mile to a junction with the Wauna Viewpoint Trail #402. This trail is not signed, but is hard to miss. The left trail goes downhill to the Eagle Creek trailhead and the right trail goes uphill to Wauna Viewpoint. "

The trail is signed (10/30/2016), not sure how long this has been the case.

I wish I had read the guide before I went the first time but it was raining anyway. It is better to go up the right at the slide, I went the other way, and from there I could see down the way I did not come, but not the trail (behind a tree?) and it looked like folks scrambled up the slope which is part of the slide, at least part of the way.
I decided to turn around. My old Sullivan book does not mention the slide. There is flagging in both directions.

Too late now , you could crop the copy right, or I could remove it later.
