Hi all,
After taking a trip down to Opal Creek today and going by the Field Guide's review, I noticed that the page needs some revisions. I attempted to reach Cedar Flats, but found that one of the bridges that I was told I'd be walking over has since been removed. Unprepared to cross that particularly steep part of Opal Creek, I had to head back. If something could be added noting that Cedar Flats is inaccessible without crossing Opal Creek on foot I think it would clear up any future confusion.
Also, in the directions to the Opal Creek Trailhead it says to turn from Rt. 22 onto Little North Santiam Road, when the street sign at the intersection reads N Fork Road.
Thanks!

Thanks for the report.
I attempted to fix the field guide. I'm not real familiar with this hike. Must be an excuse to check it out in the near future.

Looks good to me, thanks.
Definitely head down there, even without reaching my destination the walk in was worth it. Opal Creek is beautiful and, while the trees on the waln in aren't 1000 years old, they're still enormous.
