Not clear where this guy thought he was going, but he ended up stuck on a rock wall near Snoqualmie Pass, and this crew from Snohomish County SAR plucked him off. They seem to know exactly what they're doing.

That was a pretty cool video. They did a great job-kudos to those guys. The guy looked a bit freaked out (I probably would have been as well). Wonder how he got himself in that situation?
I also noticed they left his camelback. Wonder if they went back to pick it up?

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming: WOW! What a ride! - Hunter S. Thompson

Wow. That is a very popular area for hiking and climbing. Most routes up Chair Peak are Class 4 scrambles, but the west ridge route gets up to 5.7, and all of it is very exposed. (Scan through the photos at that second link for an overview of the climbing route.)
Looks like the guy tried to grab his pack just before they lifted him off. He was lucky to get out of there without losing more than that!
