More pics from our back yard Stealth Cam....

so a week ago I was able to get my hall pass and put my camera out in the coast range. Waited all week with nervous uneasiness but it wasnt stolen..... but it turns out the brand new Kingston SD card is defective and does not work in the camera  even though Kingston is a brand the camera recommends. zero pictures. I tested it today in my backyard on my chickens. Kingston 0, Sandisk 200 photos.

Now I need another weekend hall pass and a new hidden location because week the area is flagged for logging or timber sale I dont know what that means.

P.S. Adam that cougar reply is hilarious. Run Jerry Run... lol

I just pulled my cam friday out of the coast range and had both bear and bobcat. I had set for video, so I'm not sure if i can load the video on here. Haven't gotten any cougar pics since last year. Archery season for elk and deer starts 8/28 meaning there will be mess of people in the woods for the next month. Might want to wait a while before putting a cam on public land without a cable lock.

I was able to retrieve my trail cam the other weekend. It was put out 2 weeks prior, in those 2 weeks I collected about 35 pictures of elk using the trail. The star of the show was an adorable elk calf with mom always close by, are regular users of this trail. A larger elk accompanied them once but couldn’t tell if it was a bull, but a spike bull did pass by on his own agenda once clearly late for a party...

(mom was not far behind...)
