Waterfalls from the Crater

Post by kepPNW » June 8th, 2015, 5:06 pm

Anyone know if the falls to the west of Loowit are named?

Farthest west, a double falls flowing into one bigger falls, in Sasquatch Steps area. (Step Falls, maybe?)

Falls in first shot appear on right in this one. Loowit is in next gully to the left.
Both of these merge into one creek (Step Creek?) before that merges into Loowit Creek.

Heh, forgot I'd posted this here! Found partial answers on waterfallsnorthwest.com

The combined flow in the first shot is Lower Step Falls, and the upper falls on the right (I believe!) is Step Falls. It seems the other upper falls (on left?) remains unnamed.

The most prominent falls in the second shot is Lower Loowit Falls.

Definitely still, as Jimmy first said 34 years ago, a moonscape up there!
